Michael Pollan has two books you might find interesting: “The Omnivore’s Dilemma” and “In Defense of Food, An Eater’s Manifesto” .Also Barbara Kingsolver ‘s book “ Animal, Vegetable and Miracle: A year of food life “ is an interesting account on eating locally for a year. There is a lot of food for thought in these books
